Excited to explore Adobe's groundbreaking Generative AI tool built into Adobe Photoshop new beta, I eagerly downloaded it so that I could try it out. Before diving into its capabilities, I needed a few photos to experiment with.
1: Finding the photo
I scrolled through my collection and selected a fun photo of my daughter at the beach. We just finished digging a massive hole, and I was determined to capture the joy on her face.
2: Deleting the shovel
To make the photo cleaner, I wanted to remove the shovel in the frame. With a few clicks, I selected the shovel and initiated the Generative AI. To my amazement, Adobe's powerful technology swiftly and automatically erased the shovel from the image, leaving behind only the beauty of the beach and my daughter's radiant smile.
3. Erasing the fisherman
Now to simplify the photo even more I selected fisherman who unintentionally photobombed our moment. With a sense of curiosity, I clicked the generate button, and like magic, the Generative AI seamlessly transformed the fisherman into the fluid and tranquil blend of water and sand.
4. Erasing the tracks
Encouraged by the last two interactions, I now focused on the details. I chose to eliminate the tire tracks ran through the beach, hoping to gain a cleaner appearance. With a single command, I asked the AI to remove the unwanted tracks. True to its capabilities, the Generative AI swiftly processed the command and promptly erased every trace of the tire tracks, as if they had never existed.
5. Adding some love
Feeling both amazed and inspired, I embarked on one final creative endeavor. I decided to add a heart to the image. Utilizing Photoshop’s “Laso” tool, I sketched a rough heart shape over Emma, prompted the AI to generate a heart. To my delight, it presented me with a myriad of options. The heart popping out of the hole in the sand was my fovorite.
Overall, this tool is easy ands awesome! I’m super excited about the boundless possibilities of creativity that will come from using Adobe's Generative AI.
